7 February 2017 Comments Off on Airport Protests Travel Warnings
Please exercise caution when travelling to major airports around the US, in particular when travelling to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Protesters are still gathered at these places over President Trump’s immigration ban.
Travel bans are still in place for Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Yemen for the remainder of the 90 days.
Other major airports and public places where thousands have congregated are in Washington, New York, Miami, Austin, and even in Anchorage, Alaska.
These rallies can be spontaneous and not planned.
Police have allowed protesters to fill terminals at the airports, blocking foot traffic. This has also caused significant delays on the road however the police have aided to facilitate peaceful protests.
The issue remains a very pivotal moment in U.S. history, and the people are speaking up and standing up about their values.
The majority of the protesters are opposing Trump and his policies. For the time being these protests are not going away.
More protests are expected to occur on April 14th, where protesters will demand Trump release his tax returns. We will update you accordingly on this closer to the date.
